Avocor Launches SaaS Meeting User Interface To Help Manage Calls Across Platforms

Collaboration display manufacturer Avocor has announced Avocor GroupShare, a new subscription-based meeting user interface designed to help teams manage the increasing video calls due to remote and hybrid work.

According to the company, the software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution enables single-button meeting start from Avocor’s interactive display, personal mobile device or a PC for multiple unified communications platforms, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Google Meet.

Users can also access their cloud drive documents, the room’s calendar and secure wireless screen sharing.

In a press release, the company says the $595 annual Avocor GroupShare is designed to eliminate technology complications by providing a single-touch, all-in-one consistent meeting user experience.

According to the company, if an organization applies GroupShare to all of its Avocor displays, users get an identical experience across all rooms in the enterprise, from smaller huddle rooms to larger board rooms and meeting spaces. With a consistent user experience, GroupShare can help accelerate employee adoption.

Avocor says GroupShare for Microsoft 365 offers various integrations and comes preconfigured for Microsoft enterprise customers, featuring Office 365 authentication and room resource calendar integration, one-click accessibility of the Microsoft 365 personal calendar, OneDrive access and secure, wireless screen sharing.

In addition to built-in support for one-touch conference calls for any meeting software, GroupShare also features Microsoft productivity tools like Whiteboarding, Edge, Word, PowerPoint, Excel or other third-party apps.

GroupShare works securely with standard network configurations and protects each meeting with a unique ID, a 4-digit PIN and end-to-end encryption, according to Avocor.

Dana Corey, senior vice president and general manager of Avocor, said in a statement that the hybrid meeting experience demands solutions that are easy to use across software platforms.

“Our Avocor GroupShare SaaS service uniquely provides these benefits, by enabling teams to easily and immediately access the services and software that they rely on now, from a single-touch user interface,” Corey says. “It just makes it so easy to schedule and get into any type of meeting fast.”
